Three young children covered feces are rescued from apartment so revolting cops were forced to wear hazmat suits – as parents are arrested after making sick confession

Three young children were rescued from an apartment full of feces. The filthy place was so dirty that investigators had to wear protective suits.

Oklahoma City police were first alerted to the incident when neighbor Barbara North called on September 12 and reported seeing two young boys naked in an upstairs window, possibly in distress.

“I walked past that window and saw those little boys naked in it,” North said told News 9“They looked up at me as if to say, ‘Help me.’”

“They had semen on their faces, hands and mouths,” she said.

When police arrived on the scene later, they reported an unpleasant odor of feces and urine inside.

“As the door opened, I was hit with an odor that made my stomach turn and my eyes water,” an officer wrote in an affidavit obtained by Law & Crime.

Dakota Dodd, 24, the boys’ stepfather, answered the door to police around 11:15 a.m. that day, but he still had “redness and blotches” on his face, as if he had just been woken from sleep.

Dodd reportedly initially said he was the only one home, but later admitted his two sons were upstairs. He reluctantly agreed to let the officer follow him into the boys’ bathroom.

The officer then described what he saw.

“On the stairs leading to the second floor were piles of what appeared to be human feces. The odor of feces became stronger as you walked up the stairs,” the officer wrote.

‘At the top of the stairs was a bedroom. The room had no furniture, except for a plastic children’s slide and some toys.

‘In the closet was a double bed frame. The frame was on its side and there was no mattress in it.’

The statement also noted that there was feces on every surface, including the walls, floors and windows.

And when officers opened the door to the bedroom, two boys, ages 3 and 4, immediately came out, “as if they were waiting by the door or trying to get away,” the affidavit said.

It says the boys had “feces on their nail beds, palms, feet, legs and faces.”

It also says that the ‘reimbursements had dried up and did not look ‘fresh.’

By the time investigators arrived on the scene, they had to don protective suits to protect themselves from the stench.

Dodd later allegedly admitted that he locked the boys in the bedroom for more than 12 hours a day so their mother, 22-year-old Aubrianna Freeman, could get enough sleep to “keep the children safe because of the neighborhood,” News 9 reports.

A third child, an 11-month-old girl who was Dodd’s biological child, was also found in the home but was kept away from the boys.

All three children were subsequently taken to a local hospital for evaluation and placed in the care of the Department of Human Services.

Meanwhile, both Dodd and Freeman were arrested and both charged with five counts of child neglect.

Their bail was set at $250,000 each.
