Warren Gatland will have his say on longtime sparring partner Eddie Jones with the New Zealander poised to appear as a television pundit on the Autumn Nations Series.

Sportsmail understands that three-time head coach of British and Irish Lions Gatland has signed up to partner with broadcaster Amazon Prime for November’s games.

The 59-year-old took charge of the Lions in their Test series against South Africa in the summer of 2021 before going to work in his home country of New Zealand.

Warren Gatland has signed up to partner with Amazon Prime for the Autumn Nations Series

He returned to former side Chiefs as rugby director after his third stint as Lions boss and has kept his thoughts on the Northern Hemisphere game mostly to himself ever since.

But that will soon change as Gatland is poised to work in the media on key matches involving Jones’ England, as well as two teams he has led in the past in Wales and Ireland. Gatland and Jones were no strangers to wars of words in previous clashes between England and Wales.

Amazon is the main channel of the Autumn Nations Series, which is a crucial part of the build-up to next year’s World Cup in France.

Amazon first switched to rugby broadcasting in 2020 and has put a lot of money into their operation by attracting some of the sport’s leading figures.

Last fall, they secured the signing of Wales and Lions great Alun Wyn Jones as an expert for his team’s play with Australia after suffering an injury against New Zealand.

Jamie George will not be in England’s games in November after being sidelined for ten weeks due to a foot injury sustained while playing for Saracens against Leicester.

Worcester Warriors players and staff are expected to be fired on Wednesday.

One of the club’s companies – WRFC Players Limited – is facing a liquidation petition in the Supreme Court, where it is expected to be liquidated. It would mean that all Worcester employees would immediately lose their jobs, allowing players and staff of the Sixways club to move on.

Another incumbent Premiership club in Wasps has filed a second letter of intent to appoint an administrator. It means they have 10 days to avoid falling into the same trap as Worcester.
