A shooting at a Kansas City bar left three dead and two injured

  • The shooting took place at the Klymax Lounge in Kansas City, Missouri, shortly before 1:25 a.m. on Sunday
  • One person died in the bar; another died outside the building and a third died after being rushed to hospital
  • Two other people are being treated in hospital – one was in critical condition and the other in a stable condition

Three people are dead and two others are in hospital following a shooting at a bar in Kansas City, Missouri, in the early hours of the morning.

The shooting occurred shortly before 1:25 a.m. at the Klymax Lounge on Indiana Avenue. One victim allegedly died in the bar, while the second was shot dead outside the building, Kansas City Police Department Officer Donna Drake told the Washington Post.

A third person died in hospital. One of the injured is in critical condition, the other is stable, police said.

The victims were all adults, police said, but their ages and identities were not immediately available.
