Horror as three adorable girls aged 5, 6 and 8 are found dead inside family home alongside their mother – as heartbroken father breaks his silence
An Indiana father is devastated after his partner and three young daughters were found dead in their Indiana home.
Jonathan Newell broke down in tears as he spoke about his partner Rebecca Hughes, 32, and daughters Evalynn, 8, Allison, 6, and Amelia, 5, following their sudden passing on Tuesday.
Police have not yet released any information about the cause of death or the causes of death of the four family members, but said there was no further threat to the public.
It is unclear how the tragedy unfolded, but in a GoFundMe Jonathan had set up this plan and he wrote that Rebecca “took (his daughters) with her when she died.”
Jonathan said ABC57: ‘Sometimes you’re angry, sometimes you’re sad, and sometimes you’re so dissociated that you don’t even feel like you’re really there.’

The girls’ father, Jonathan Newell, said he was devastated by the loss: “Sometimes you’re angry, sometimes you’re sad, and sometimes you’re so disconnected from the situation that you don’t even feel like you’re there.”
The bodies of the three young girls and their mother were found in Newell’s Wolcottville, Indiana, home after police responded to the scene for a welfare check around 11:20 a.m.
Authorities launched an investigation and forensic investigators combed the crime scene. A coroner later identified the four family members.
“I’m not asking people for help, but these children deserve so much more than I can provide for their funeral,” the grieving father wrote in the fundraiser, adding that any additional donations will be matched.
The community has been shocked by the deaths and many flowers and teddy bears have been placed at the family’s home.
Residents told COLD that it was a normal sight to see the girls playing in their garden and around their house.
“It’s just a tragedy,” said neighbor Greg Williams.
“It’s always sad when children are involved and they die.”

As emergency workers left the scene of the crash at the family’s home, another witness said a firefighter burst into tears after leaving behind the horror inside.
While still reeling from the loss, Jonathan urged anyone struggling with mental health issues to seek help.
“To a lot of people it might not seem like much, but once you get to that place, it’s the world,” he said.
“If you’re a parent and you have children and you need help, ask for it. You never know when the last time you’ll get that help is.”

The grieving father says he now hopes to raise enough money just to pay for his daughter’s funeral, a move he tearfully described as “the last thing I can do for them.”
“It is to honor and respect them and to ensure that they have a dignified burial.”
