Three dead and eight injured in horror mass shooting after Mississippi homecoming football game
Three people have been killed and eight others injured after a shooting during a drive-by after a homecoming football game.
The shooting happened just after midnight on Saturday in Holmes County, Mississippi WJTV.
Local Sheriff Willie March told the newspaper that several people had been out for a drive after returning home from Holmes County Consolidated School.
An argument reportedly broke out between some young men who had been part of the ride before the shooting occurred.
The three victims have since been identified as 25-year-old Martel Gibson of Durant, 19-year-old Shundra Chestnut of Kosciusko and 19-year-old John Jenkins, also of Durant.

March said some injured victims had to be airlifted to a hospital, while others were taken by ambulance.
Authorities are still searching for suspects in connection with the incident. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the case.
