Opposition leader Peter Dutton condemned on Sky News on Sunday the pro-Palestinian protests held earlier this month, with some participants shouting anti-Semitic chants.

“No one wants to see a loss of life in the Middle East or anywhere else, no one will tolerate discrimination against any Australian regardless of their religious beliefs or background,” Dutton said.

More than a thousand police officers are expected to be present at the demonstrations in Sydney to ensure the safety of demonstrators.
