Thomas Tuchel will reportedly receive a significant bonus if he leads England to victory at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
The 51-year-old German has won trophies with Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Bayern Munich during his career in club management.
He was announced earlier this month as the man chosen by the Football Association to take over from Gareth Southgate, who resigned as England manager following his side’s defeat to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.
Tuchel has signed an 18-month contract with the FA and will earn at least £7.5 million over that period. The sun.
Furthermore, it is claimed that Tuchel will receive an additional £3 million bonus if the England men end their trophy drought by winning the World Cup for the first time since 1966.

Southgate also took England to successive Euro finals. His side were beaten on penalties by Italy in the Euro 2020 final before losing 2-1 to Spain in the final match at Euro 2024.

Tuchel’s first game as England manager is expected to take place in March 2025.
