Thomas Partey is drawing interest from Saudi Arabia, with his possible departure from Arsenal paving the way for a move to Romeo Lavia this summer
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is receiving offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, which could pave the way for a move to Southampton’s Romeo Lavia.
Lavia, who is on the verge of leaving Southampton following their relegation from the Premier League last season, is drawing interest from some of the Premier League’s top clubs ahead of possible bids.
With Arsenal leading the race, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested, while Manchester City have a buy-back option after they sold the Belgian to the Saints last summer.
However, that will disappear if he moves to another club, meaning City must move now if they are interested in signing the 19-year-old again.
Arsenal are eager to move to another defensive midfielder, while Partey is on the verge of leaving after a disappointing end to the season that saw him lose his place to Jorginho.

Declan Rice remains the Gunners’ top priority, but they’ve seen all their bids rejected by the Hammers this summer.
They’ve also been eyeing Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, but Brighton’s £100m asking price is holding them back from a bid despite strong interest in January.
Lavia would charge a much lower fee, with 90min report that Southampton were asking for £50 million for their relegation.
Partey, meanwhile, is said to be the latest big-name Premier League player on the verge of moving to the Middle East as several stars such as Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly prepare to follow N’Golo Kante to the competition.
