Thomas Frank admits he had to do his best to hide his anger after his Brentford side conceded five goals in the Premier League for the first time.
They were guilty of gifting at least three of them to Newcastle – Frank thought there were four – and the boss said: ‘I’m using a lot of force trying to keep calm or I’ll explode.
“It’s very, very, very — that was four times — hard to win a football game when you make one, two, three, four mistakes.

“I know that both things happen in the Premier League, the toughest and most brutal competition in the world. It’s just because my faith in these guys is so great. That’s why I never thought it would happen.
