And for Safari users, all of these can be closed with a simple finger press.
The hack was shared on Twitter by user @TodayYearsOld, who asked their followers, “How old were you when you heard that you can hold down the tab browser on your iPhone to save three minutes of swiping?”.
And hundreds of people responded to the post, many saying they “never knew” this tip.
One person wrote: ‘Never knew’.
As another said, “Omg. this has changed my life, thank you.’
And a third said, “Omg, life changer.”
While another wrote, “Just closed 426 tabs,” as one person also noted, “This deserves a follow up because I just closed 323 tabs in one move.”
How to clear all Safari tabs on your Apple device
The way to clear your Safari tabs couldn’t be easier.
All you need to do is open the Safari app on your phone, then tap and hold the tab icon at the bottom right.
After this, a secret menu will appear.
You can tap Close all X tabs to remove them all immediately.
