This Tuesday there will be a new Nintendo Direct with a new format

Nintendo will host a new Nintendo Direct presentation on Tuesday, August 27, a two-part stream that will be half Partner Showcase and half Indie World. That means you can expect the new Nintendo Direct to focus on games from major third-party publishers and games from smaller, independent developers.

Tuesday’s Nintendo Direct/Indie World stream will run for approximately 40 minutes and will begin at 10 a.m. EDT/7 a.m. PDT. The showcase will be streamed on Nintendo’s YouTube And Twitching channels. And before you get your hopes up for a random Switch 2 reveal on Tuesday, Nintendo says “there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during any of these presentations.”

Instead, expect details about games for Nintendo Switch that don’t come directly from Nintendo itself. That could include upcoming third-party games like Disney Epic Mickey: Re-brushed, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Yars is rising, Gundam Breaker 4and the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection.
