A young traveler has revealed a 'genius' way to store your jewelery while on holiday – and it ensures nothing gets lost or damaged during the trip.
Lauren from the US uses buttons to keep her earrings secure when she's not wearing them.
The frequent flyer simply threads the pins of her earrings into knots and secures them on the other side with the studs.
“I do this all the time when I travel,” Lauren said in a now-viral video.
The hack ensures that the earrings stay together and the button makes them clearly visible in storage bags.

Many were happy that their extra buttons finally came in handy.
'I've been collecting buttons all my life. I've never needed them, until now,” said one.
“This is great, I have a shoebox full of buttons,” said another.
A few shared additional “life-saving” travel hacks.
“If your necklaces keep getting tangled, thread them through a straw when you travel,” one woman said.
'I use self-adhesive cling film for my chains. Lay them flat and cover with another layer of foil,” wrote another.
A third said: 'I love the button idea. I put my earrings in a pill sorter!
'I have a bandana that I just put my earrings through and arrange the earrings with and without the back. But this is much more aesthetic,” one person admitted.
