This original Xbox handheld, made by a modder, uses original parts, has a 480p screen and Xbox Live support

Forget that official Xbox handheld that has been gradually disappearing in and out of the rumor mill over the past year; a mud has now been ahead of the company.

Over on X / Twitter, woodworker and hardware engineer Red herring32 has built a portable version of the original Xbox console – the one first released in 2001. The maker says it’s “not a PC handheld, it’s not an emulation, this is a real motherboard from a real Xbox.”
