With twelve weeks to go until Christmas, it was suggested on This Morning that it might be a good idea to put up a tree now and decorate it with scary decorations, before switching to festive decorations in December.
On social media, fans of the ITV Daytime show were outraged by the idea, branding it a ‘waste of money’, especially during the current cost of living crisis.

Setup: In the TV studio, several trees were set up and decorated with Halloween-themed ornaments – both store-bought and homemade varieties
One viewer tweeted: ‘Halloween tree? For God sake! NO. #thismorning,” with another adding, “Halloween trees are too far #thismorning.”

It comes after Josie revealed who her favorite co-host is on This Morning after taking the helm of the show this summer alongside a ever-changing roster of co-stars
Having worked with several stars including Rochelle Humes, Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary and Steve Jones, Josie has revealed that Alison is actually her favourite.
She said The mirror: ‘My favorite is of course Alison Hammond. I love Al – she has such a special energy.
‘She’s the nicest person on earth. You could call Al and after the call you’ll feel like a million bucks.
“You’d never know if she was in a bad mood because she’s too busy trying to make you feel good.”
