This might be the coolest iPhone accessory at CES 2025, perfectly combining technology and aesthetics
- The new power bank from Belkin combines specifications and design perfectly.
- It attaches magnetically to an iPhone and offers wireless or wired charging.
- It is modeled after a disposable camera and can function as a shutter button.
What’s better than a regular MagSafe-enabled power bank that attaches to the back of your phone? Well, the answer is clearly one that comes in fun colors and has an integrated cable And looks like a classic point-and-shoot.
Luckily, Belkin just announced the Stage PowerGrip at CES 2025, which offers all that and a little more. It will be released next May for a yet-to-be-revealed price. But considering it drops before summer starts in the United States and right before graduation, I wouldn’t be shocked to see this on wish lists.
The Stage PowerGrip will be available in five colors – powder blue, lavender, sandbox, pepper and fresh yellow – and fits on the back of an iPhone 12 or newer thanks to its integrated MagSafe-compatible ring. Once clipped to the back, it acts as a stand, allowing you to stand the iPhone vertically or horizontally.

Since it’s modeled after a classic point-and-shoot camera or even a disposable camera, you can also use it to hold the phone landscape to take photos. The spot that traditionally shows how many shots are left on a camera is replaced here by an LED screen to show how much battery is left. Belkin packed in a hefty 10,000mAh cell, which should be enough to charge an iPhone at least one and a half times. There’s even a button built in, which, when paired with an iPhone, can act as a shutter.
Now when attached wirelessly to the back, it delivers a maximum power of 7.5 watts for charging. However, thanks to the integrated USB-C cable, which automatically rolls up and stores neatly, you can charge it faster by connecting it to your phone. Alternatively, you can also use that cable to power another device, be it a phone, earbuds, or even another battery.
There’s also a single USB-C port built into the right side of the Stage PowerGrip for easy charging of the power bank or charging another device, provided you bring the cable.
So while Belkin’s Stage PowerGrip will likely cost more than a standard MagSafe-compatible phone bank, you get a little more functionality in an incredibly aesthetically pleasing package. I’m looking forward to spending some more time on it once I can put it into practice and eventually test it. We’ll also have to wait for our 2025 Ny Breaking Best of CES Awards to find out for sure if the Stage PowerGrip is the coolest.
If you’re looking for a more traditional power bank, Belkin’s latest BoostCharge Power Bank 20K will be available in April for $49.95 in four colors (blue, pink, black, or white). The integrated cable can deliver up to 30 watts for fast charging of a device such as an iPhone. Belkin even promises that it can charge an iPhone 16 Pro from 0% to 50% in just 25 minutes.
