Manchester United fans were stunned by the appearance of one of the club’s former stars after they were photographed posing for a photo in a pub.
The former United player had spent 11 years at Old Trafford during his career, before returning to the club to spend 13 years on the coaching staff.
Supporters were still struggling to recognize the former Scotland international after he was seen sporting a large bushy beard while drinking a pint alongside a fan at the Gold Cup pub in Manchester.
Fans were shocked by the appearance of former Manchester United star Brian McClair, on the right.

McClair had spent most of his United career clean-shaven, as well as having brown hair, which has now been replaced with long white bear and gray hair.
Several fans commented that the 59-year-old now looks like Santa Claus.
“Brian McClair became Santa Claus after retiring from football,” said one fan, with another adding: “He deserves a pint after going through his busiest time of the year.”

McClair’s successful United career was remembered by many supporters as the striker played 471 caps for the Reds and scored 127 goals.
“My hero and one of the most underrated forwards of all time,” said one fan, with another saying: “Great player and adapted his style over time, class.”
McClair was part of four Premier League title-winning teams during his time at Old Trafford.
McClair spent 13 years coaching at Man United, including as head of the club’s youth academy.
“Absolutely passionate guy, had plenty of time for us younger lads,” one tweeted.
McClair became the first United striker to score 20 goals in a season since George Best, after finding the net 24 times in his debut campaign after moving from Celtic in 1987.
The striker was part of four title-winning teams at Old Trafford, as well as lifting the FA Cup three times and the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1991.
McClair also scored the winning goal in the 1991 UEFA Super Cup against Red Star Belgrade, before repeating the feat the following year in the League Cup final against Nottingham Forest.
McClair, nicknamed ‘Choccy’, left United in 1998 to join his first club Motherwell before retiring.
He returned to Old Trafford in 2001 to join the coaching staff, serving as head of the club’s youth academy until 2015.
