A 13-year-old boy in Colorado has been arrested in connection with the murder of a grandfather who was shot to death while riding a bus.
Richard Sanchez, 60, was just a few blocks from his Denver home when he was killed on January 27 after allegedly getting into an argument with a teenager. Fox 31.
He was shot at the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Mississippi Avenue around 6:40 p.m., but his family only found out he died after they tried to file a missing person’s report days later.
Sánchez was rushed to hospital but was later pronounced dead. Another person was injured in the incident and was treated at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.

Sánchez allegedly got into an argument with the teenager over complaints that his leg was blocking the aisle.
“At this stage of the investigation, it appears that a verbal argument occurred between the suspect and the victim regarding the fact that the victim’s leg was blocking the aisle of the bus, after which the suspect shot the victim,” a statement said. police spokesperson.
The victim’s family only learned he had been killed when they went to the police on Monday to report him missing.
