Thierry Henry offered a cheeky critique to fellow pundit Jamie Carragher on the CBS Sports Golazo program on Tuesday night, following the Liverpool legend’s playful jab at Micah Richards.
Henry, Carragher and Richards are the regular co-experts on CBS Sports’ popular Champions League coverage program, known for its light-hearted take on the week’s European action.
The show, hosted by Kate Abdo, has become a favorite for fans and players alike, with stars including Manchester City’s Jack Grealish often taking to the pitch after matches.
Tuesday night saw Bayern Munich take on Real Madrid, with the two powerhouses drawing 2-2, and as the pundits went through their analysis of the match, Carragher directed a jibe in Richards’ direction.
“This show has come a long way, hasn’t it?” Carragher said. ‘Micah Richards tells Thierry Henry about tactics!’

Carragher had made a joke about Richards’ tactical knowledge after Bayern Munich’s 2-2 draw against Real Madrid
“He just reminded me of something I already told him, true or false?” Henry responded.
After Richards explained that he was reminding Henry of a point he made earlier, Henry clarified, “I’m just taking Jamie back to his job!”
It was an eventful evening of action on CBS, with Thomas Müller’s post-match interview hilariously interrupted by Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni.
Muller was on screen and started giving his thoughts on the game before seemingly getting distracted by something off camera, before revealing what had interrupted him.
‘Tchouameni is listening to tactics for the next match!’ the German legend joked.
Los Blancos star Tchouameni then entered the picture and the two shook hands, before the Frenchman quickly disappeared again, ahead of his own interview afterwards.
The team had just played out a thrilling 2-2 draw, with Los Blancos moving out of Bavaria’s level and taking the lead going into their home game.
Vinicius Junior opened the scoring in the first half before a four-minute double from Leroy Sane and Harry Kane put Thomas Tuchel’s side back on top heading into the closing stages of the match.

But Brazilian star Vinicius rose again to bury a penalty after 83 minutes to keep Real level and certainly the favorites to now reach the showpiece.
Müller admitted he was ‘not happy’ with the outcome of the first leg as Bayern Munich squandered a 2-1 lead, but added ‘that’s Real Madrid’.
“You have to be careful every minute,” he added. ‘Toni Kroos laughs, but he knows it’s always the same. So I’m not happy today, but it was okay.’
Since his tournament debut in 2009, he has made 150 appearances in the Champions League, a figure achieved by only five other players.
