'Tis the season to be jolly – and these students seem intent on being the jolliest of all after heading into town for a night of clubbing as they complete their studies in the run-up to Christmas.
Pictures taken in Leeds and Nottingham on Thursday evening show students taking to the streets ready for a night out – with many even donning festive attire for the occasion.
In Nottingham, Rock City student night Tuned attracted thousands of people to the city for the final event before Christmas.
Meanwhile, one brave partygoer in the city of Leeds even opted for a full Santa suit. Others went for more revealing versions of traditional Christmas wear – and some chose to add wintery accents to their normal festive attire, from Santa hats to bright red suspenders.
However, some nights didn't quite go to plan – with one reveler looking worse for wear as she held the side of a large commercial bin after falling ill.
And emotions ran high on the streets of the Yorkshire city, where a man could be seen confronting a much taller partygoer wearing a Christmas jumper.
This Friday, December 22, is 'Black Friday' – the last weekend before Christmas, and traditionally one of the busiest nights of the year for paramedics and police forces across the country.
