There were an obscene amount of movie trailers this week

The summer blockbuster is upon us, and if you need proof, look no further than the avalanche of trailers that dropped this week. By House of the Dragon And Furiosa Unpleasant Beetle juice 2 and a terribly ill-conceived children’s book adaptation, it seems like every studio wanted to go all out on promoting summer merchandise this week.

And the timing makes sense. Of Dune: part two still raking in a lot of money at the box office, and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and the incoming Godzilla x Kong In the soft launch of the summer season, studios want to release their trailers now so that people going to the cinema can see them before each blockbuster release.
