He captioned the viral clip, which has been viewed more than 113,000 times to date: 'The honeymoon phase is over, you're in a secure relationship and now things feel boring. Five things to keep in mind.'
The first tip the therapist shared was to remind yourself that you wanted a long-term and stable relationship.
“This is what you wanted, honey, you were looking for a long-term relationship that was stable and calm,” he said.
“Sometimes it feels a little weird once you get into it.”
Jeff talked about embracing the comfort and getting “cozy.”

“Don't confuse it with a red flag,” he said.
“You have something that's drama-free.”
As a third piece of advice, he told listeners to cultivate the spark again by continuing to date each other.
“You have to create your own spark,” he said.
