Theo James teased that the makers of The White Lotus have included in his contract that he is “not allowed to do anything without being completely naked” in the series.
Speaking about the “sexy” second season of HBO’s hit comedy drama, the 37-year-old actor also revealed to Entertainment Tonight why some of his nude scenes had to be re-shot.
“The first version we shot was way too much. So we made a more subtle version. They toned it down [down],” said the Divergent star, 37, of a scene in episode five where his character, Cameron Babcock, undresses to nothing.

He went on to point out “there’s a purpose to it,” saying his nudity is “interesting, [because] in the beginning… we don’t know if it’s intentional or… [if] it’s accidental. But it reveals itself.’
When asked what it felt like to bare the whole camera, the hunk, who has already shown a lot of skin in The Time Traveler’s Wife series and in Sanditon, said it “felt natural.”
“It’s funny because we’re all a little naked. It’s actually a holiday show,’ James mused.

James went on to say that participating in The White Lotus, which won five Emmy Awards, was “surreal.”
“It was all pretty good,” he told ET. ‘The first half [of filming] we were all in the same hotel together, which was very convenient as we got to know each other very quickly.’
Jennifer Coolidge is believed to be the only season 1 cast member to return for the second season, which was set and filmed in Sicily.

The first season of The White Lotus featured a standout cast that included Murray Bartlett, Natasha Rothwell, Connie Britton, Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady and Sydney Sweeney.
Steve Zahn, Lukas Gage, Fred Hechinger and Kekoa Kekumano and Molly Shannon also appeared.
The show was the big winner of this year’s Emmy Awards, taking home a whopping 10 gongs, including Outstanding Limited of Anthology Series.
