Could you bear it? Bare Necessities Tour and Travel offers cruises for nudists
Most guests on this cruise package are light – very light.
It’s run by Bare Necessities Tour & Travel, which encourages guests to strip off but provides a few guidelines.
One rule is that “lingerie, fetish wear and excessive genital jewelry” are prohibited, as is nudity when the ship is docked and during meals in the dining rooms.
Guests must also ensure that when sitting on a towel or piece of clothing ‘bare buttocks or in a thong or G-string’.
The Bare Necessities Tour & Travel website adds that this rule applies “everywhere… your stateroom, on the pool deck, in the buffet area, in all locations on board and even during excursions.”
And it emphasizes: ‘Social nudity is not a sexual activity, and we aim to dispel the misconception that it is anything but natural and beautiful.’
