Halloween is here and once again stars are bringing their A-game in terms of costumes as they all try to impress their fans with creative looks.
While some opt for simple but sexy outfits, with traditional witch, cat and vampire ensembles, others take the annual spooktactular much more seriously.
Many become completely unrecognizable as they undergo hours of hair and makeup before revealing their often breathtaking finished look.
Celebrities have even started following in the Kardashian-Jenners’ footsteps and hosting professional photo shoots to show off their Halloween finery.
As the stars show off their unrecognizable costumes, we’ve selected the best yet. Can you find out who they are?

Olivia pulled out all the stops this year when she appeared in head-to-toe costume in the Loose Women Halloween special.
The TV presenter looked unrecognizable as The White Witch from The Chronicles of Narnia as she wore white make-up and gray clothes.
The former Love Islander ditched her blonde locks and embraced a dark black wig for the look that faded into gray locks.
She was adorned in fur and had an icy makeup look, complete with white eyelashes and silver gemstones.
The cast featured a number of rotating witches from a selection of blockbusters including The Wizard Of Oz and Hocus Pocus.
2. Maya Jama
Maya is the queen of Halloween and throws a party for her best friends every year on October 31st.
The Love Island host revealed her look on her Instagram page hours before the big night, revealing she would be attending as Storm this year.
Last year, Maya looked equally unrecognizable as she hosted the bash as an older version of herself, wearing a gray wig and walking with a cane.
3. Nadia Sawalha
Nadia Sawalha looked absolutely horrifying as she was transfigured into the Grand High Witch from the film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s book The Witches.
The 58-year-old’s costume was complete with a protruding nose, huge hand and ears, wrinkled dirty skin and her usual unruly curls were hidden by a bald cap.
Nadia embodied the children’s character, appearing as the Grand High Witch in her more ‘human’ state before transforming into her ‘witch’ state after the break.
Like Olivia, she showed off her look on Loose Women and producers took inspiration from the scene in the film where the witches gather for their meeting and, once the doors are locked, take off their wigs and peel off their faces.
4.Alex Scott
Alex showed off her terrifying yet sassy Halloween look as she transformed into Pennywise the clown.
The 39-year-old football expert looked terrifying in her ultra-realistic costume, which included a striking red wig, full clown make-up and a yellow bodysuit.
However, she also added a sultry element to the bottom half of the ensemble, giving a very leggy presentation in matching yellow sheer thigh-high stockings.
On Instagram, the host joked that “ScottieWise (is) the new PennyWise,” striking various poses including holding the clown’s signature balloons.
To add to her creepy look, Alex posed under a dimly lit Gloucester Avenue Bridge near Regent’s Canal as she walked towards the camera with a straight face.
5. Perry Edwards
Perrie and her son Axel both transformed into Disney characters for Halloween.
The Little Mix star, 30, and her two-year-old son looked unrecognizable as they dressed up as chef Gusteau and rat Remy from Ratatouille.
Her signature blonde locks were covered by a short brown wig and a white chef’s hat and matching jacket.
Meanwhile, Axel looked adorable in a gray rat onesie as he posed on Perrie’s shoulders.
She added an iconic quote from the film to her Instagram caption: “Anyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great.”
6. Roxy Horner
Roxy Horner went all out as Jim Carrey’s The Mask at Gaucho steakhouse’s ‘Hallowzeem’ party in London on Friday evening.
The model, 32, looked fantastic dressed as the iconic movie character.
She fully embodied Jim Carrey’s character from 1994, wearing a bright yellow suit with a matching hat.
Roxy also painted her face completely green, with some of it unfortunately staining the brim of her hat.
The new mom completed the look with a white shirt and an intricate white, black and gray tie.
7. Adele
Adele, 35, dressed as Morticia Addams from The Addams Family for Halloween while performing her Weekends With Adele show in Vegas on Saturday.
The Hello singer honored the Halloween weekend by dressing up as the iconic witch, wearing a long black wig and a tight long black dress.
During the show, Adele broke down in tears as she saw the doctor who delivered her baby in the audience of her Caesars Palace residence.
