Belinda is back! White Lotus star Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role as fan favorite character and return for the upcoming third season
Natasha Rothwell is the first character to return in the upcoming season of The White Lotus, according to The White Lotus Variety.
The 42-year-old actress is reportedly reprising her role as fan-favorite character spa manager Belinda Lindsey in season three of the award-winning HBO hit series, which is confirmed to be set in Thailand.
Rothwell didn’t appear in the second season, but fans watched her in season one alongside Jennifer Coolidge, 61 — who won numerous awards for her role as the bubbly Tanya McQuoid.
In the debut season, the wealthy resort guest hit the spa manager with promises to invest in her dream of opening her own wellness retreat.
At the end of the show, Belinda was crushed when Tanya finally abandoned her, and fans have already begun to theorize that she’ll finally get her redemption.

On the same day, the Emmy nominee – known for her work on Issa Rae’s hit comedy Insecure – confirmed the news by sharing the Variety article and tweeting, “Belinda is back baby!!!”
In response to the announcement, fans have started speculating about her character’s storyline in the upcoming season.
After viewers shared the disappointment and frustration Belinda felt when Coolidge’s character broke her promise, many now hope she finally opens her own practice in season three.
Since (spoiler ahead!) Coolidge’s character died in the season two finale, fans have yet to see what will happen to the wealthy heiress’ fortune.
One Twitter user wrote, “You know I pray that Tanya left her so much money in her will.”
While the plot and all further details have been kept a tight secret, the comedy drama series creator Mike White had previously teased one of his ideas for the new season.
In a post-episode interview, the 52-year-old screenwriter and director said, “The first season was about money, and the second season is about sex.
“I think maybe the third season would be a satirical and funny take on death and eastern religion and spirituality,” he continued. “It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”

Season Three: Production for the new season does not appear to have begun and as such no release date has been announced yet; however, season three of The White Lotus is expected to be released in late 2023 or early 2024
That said, the exploited and disgruntled resort employee with big dreams and an accomplished background in wellness could fit that premise perfectly.
The general consensus from fans is that Belinda has been robbed of a happy ending. In the upcoming season, many hope that justice will finally and hopefully be served as it deserves. Maybe she’ll find Tanya’s scheming husband Greg at the new resort location and get revenge on a scale.
Production for the new season doesn’t seem to have started yet and as such, no release date has been announced yet.
However, the third season of The White Lotus is expected to be released in late 2023 or early 2024.
