Now in a new interview with Variety, Lukas blurted out that his mother reacted by saying: ‘That’s a big ass **. Get that money. Grab that bag and commit.

Backdrop: Lukas, 27, appears in the first season as the happy-go-lucky hotel clerk Dillon who catches the eye of his recovering alcoholic manager, the critically injured Armond (Murray Bartlett).
Whoops: In a scene that had fans wagging their tongues, Armond is caught in his office performing rimjob on his minion.
Along with The White Lotus, Lukas also gained attention for a scene in the Netflix series You in which he is urinated on as a sexual fetish.
His mother was relaxed, Lukas said, describing her as “a cool little hippie lady.” With the nudity, I think we both share a kind of European vibe.
Shortly after the rimjob scene in The White Lotus aired, Murray explained that “I love that it’s not something we see very often.”
In an interview with digital spyhe said with a smile, “In terms of the scene function, I think the surprise value for people who are not used to that kind of… intimacy setting is really brilliant.”
He argued that the scene “felt right in terms of shock value. And it felt great in terms of, ‘Let’s show something that’s a natural part of sex for a lot of queer people. It serves the scene in a great way.’
Murray has been open about his own homosexuality for years, while Lukas is currently dating stylist to the stars Chris Appleton.
In the past, Lukas has been relentlessly attacked by angry social media users because he plays LGBT roles without publicly labeling himself as such.
When the subject came up in a recent New York Times interview, he shared that he was once dropped by an agent for refusing to clearly define his sexual orientation.

Pushing the boundaries: Along with The White Lotus, Lukas also gained attention for a scene in the Netflix series You (pictured) in which he is urinated on as a sexual fetish
The agent allegedly gave him instructions: “Stop dyeing your hair, stop wearing weird clothes and choose a lane: gay, bi or straight.” He is too confused.
Meanwhile, Lukas’ own position is: “I understand the representation and the voices that need to be heard, but I don’t want to do anything with anyone’s agreement but my own.”
He insisted: ‘Let me do it when I’m ready. And he is acting. I feel like everyone should have the opportunity to play whatever they want.’
More recently, Lukas also defended Diplo, who went viral for speaking on Emily Ratajkowski’s podcast. Tall short who has received oral sex from men.
Although Diplo confessed that he was “not NOT gay,” he also did not put a label on his sexuality, leading to a touch of online trolling.
Lukas had only positive words for Diplo, saying: “I’m sure there are plenty of people who have the exact same experience, but maybe they don’t have the confidence or honesty to talk about it.”
He acknowledged: “And, you know, there will be people on both sides who will say that he’s not labeling himself enough.”
Lukas sided with Diplo, saying, “I commend you on your honesty and I don’t think we should label everything and have it all figured out.” Things can be in a gray area and it doesn’t have to be so black and white.’
