“He means beer, he means beer,” Boyington replied flatly, stifling a laugh as he tried to imitate the festive drink-related comment.

Boyington was surprised, but quickly tried to downplay the mistake, explaining that it was a reference to him liking to hold two glasses of beer in his hands.

He then jokingly requested that the images not be uploaded to YouTube.

Of course, said request was promptly ignored, as the video has already gone viral and been uploaded to Twitter, where it racked up over 750,000 views, likely far more viewers than would have been watching the 5 a.m. broadcast.

In the US, the term ‘double fist’ is a crude slang term that refers to the practice of holding two alcoholic beverages at a time and drinking them simultaneously, but the term, as in this case, can also refer to an awkward-sounding sexual act. act which is what created the ruckus in the studio during the live broadcast on Friday morning.
