The Voice Australia judge Guy Sebastian reveals the suburbs of Sydney where he has found exceptional singers

Guy Sebastian is looking for new singing talent in the Sydney suburbs.

The Voice Australia judge told The Morning Show that his charity, the Sebastian Foundation, offers the use of a studio to young artists.

“For me, growing up, it would have been a dream to have a space like this, and you pay up to $1,000 a day for a studio and not everyone can afford that,” the 41-year-old said Friday.

“Far way west, in areas like Blacktown, there’s so much talent there, but not always the opportunity.”

Guy added, “They actually have a studio suitable for Grammys. When they walk into a room like that, they feel like they deserve it, you know?’

Guy is teaming up with new coach Jason Derulo on the upcoming season of The Voice Australia.

The American singer has revealed what it was like working with his co-stars Rita Ora, Jessica Mauboy and Guy.

During an interview on Tuesday’s Sunrise, he said there’s been a bit of “headbutting” between the coaches, but it’s all “coming from a loving place.”

“It’s incredible because I thought the format was made for a lot of headbutts and of course there are headbutts, but it’s coming from a loving place,” he explained.

“They are all great people and really care about their artists. They are really great people.’

He added that the talent on display on the show this year is “incredible.”

“Of course I expected it to be good, but it’s unbelievable. Every night I was blown away again, and again,’ he said.

The show is back this year for its highly anticipated 12th season with a new lineup of fresh talent for viewers.

Country megastar Keith Urban dropped out, with Jason replacing him.
