Posting under her trade name ‘Grow Little Wildflower’ on Instagram, baby name consultant Michelle is delighted to see old names become new again.
He shared a video featuring some of the top ‘new and old’ names for the new year, including Posey for a girl and Walter for a boy.

The video, which has over 170,000 likes, also mentions Aurelia, Effie, and Esther as perfect choices for girls.
While Ted, Winston, and August were some of his highlights for the kids.
And if the names on your list don’t resonate, Michelle has other tips for finding the perfect retro baby name.
“Look back at your family history…you might find a name from generations ago that fits so perfectly with your little family today,” she said.
She also asked people to share their own old names, hoping it might inspire parents still searching for “the one.”
‘I’m expecting another girl in May, I’ll call her Emmeline,’ said one woman.

And while many people seemed excited about the revival, some were very vocal in their hatred of the names.
“These are sad beige names for sad beige boys,” said one woman.
