Whoopi Goldberg apparently confirmed she’s single and living alone when she opened up about “going to bed alone” during Monday’s episode of The View — but that didn’t stop her from dishing out relationship advice to her married cohosts.
The 68-year-old Sister Act star, who has been married three times, revealed she chose not to share her bed with anyone – not even her cat – because she “didn’t want to worry about” anyone else. especially a significant other.
However, Whoopi decided to advise the rest of the panel about their relationships and at one point labeled cohost Sunny Hostin a ‘b****’ when she openly criticized her husband Emmanuel’s cooking live on air.
Whoopi told the mother-of-two “you need to stop” before warning her that she would end up “alone” if her husband of 25 years tuned into the episode and witnessed criticism over his “nasty” home-cooked dinners.

The heated conversation started when Whoopi revealed that a recent article claimed that many couples “can’t stand what their partner does in the kitchen” — and asked her married cohosts if it was a problem for them.
Sunny, 55, was quick to speak about husband Emmanuel – who she married in 1998 – and revealed: ‘I love the domain of the kitchen. I cook every night, as most of you know. I enjoy it, I like eating my own food, the whole thing.”
“I like Manny doing the outdoor activities. Do the poop patrol for our 300 pound dogs, fix the cars, take out the trash,” she continued as Whoopi intervened and asked, “So you don’t want him to touch the food?”
‘No!’ Sunny shouted, before adding, “Because he’s not a very good cook. He has one dish…’, while Whoopi advised her to speak directly to the camera to let him know that he is ‘so bad as a cook.’
At Whoopi’s command, the curly-haired star stared into the camera and announced, “Manny, you have one dish and I don’t like that one dish,” as the rest of the panel asked her to describe it.
“He makes this weird quinoa, chickpea, and avocado thing. There’s no name…’ she said as Whoopi intervened and shouted, ‘B****, you’re going to be alone today! You should stop!’ while the rest of the hosts burst out laughing.

A little later in the conversation, Whoopi said that many couples “make it a rule not to go to sleep angry” – and seemed to confirm that she was still single.
Giggling about the subject, she admitted, “That just tickles me!” You know, that’s why I go to bed alone. I don’t have to worry about it. I don’t care who’s angry!’
Sunny then started again, explaining, “I can’t do that. I kind of believe in don’t let the sun go down on your anger and when we argue…when Manny and I argue, I can’t sleep, I literally can’t sleep, I keep thinking about it.”
Referring to Sunny’s previous comments about her husband’s cooking, Whoopi then joked, “Be prepared for today because if he sees what you said…” Sunny joked back, “He just saw his gross quinoa recipe!”
She then added, “I just don’t think you should go to sleep angry because you don’t know what the night brings, you don’t know what the morning brings, you don’t know if that person will be.” there so you can love again.”
Sara Haines, 46, then admitted that she does indeed “go to bed angry,” while Alyssa Farah Griffin said, “That doesn’t work for me.” I was awake all night, I couldn’t sleep, I have to solve it that night.’
Whoopi then added, “I have a cat and I can kick her out of the room!” I don’t understand, if you’re angry, fix it. If you are tired, don’t fight!’
“Well, that’s easier said than done,” Joy Behar, 81, chimed in as Whoopi argued, “Well, no, walking away from people when they’re out of control… you have to make a decision.”

“But I follow him,” Alyssa admitted, referring to when she argues with her husband, Justin, as Whoopi advised her, “Don’t do that, don’t do that!” If they walk away from you, leave it alone because that’s them saying, “I’m not ready.”
Whoopi’s relationship advice comes after she admitted live on air last year that she wished she had never married and lamented how “boring and expensive” her trio of divorces became.
Whoopi has been divorced a total of three times, and her last marriage to union organizer Lyle Trachtenberg ended in 1995.
Her first marriage was to Alvin Martin and lasted six years, while her second marriage to cinematographer David Claessen started in 1986 but ended in 1988.
