The View’s Joy Behar, 81, left flustered as male stripper gyrates next to her live on air in birthday surprise

Joy Behar was quite nervous on Friday’s episode of The View when she received a raunchy surprise in the form of a male stripper to celebrate her upcoming birthday.

Joy turns 82 on Monday, but the ABC daytime show decided to mark the special occasion a few days early and invited the comedian’s friend Nathan Lane onto the show to discuss his latest role in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story .

Near the end of his interview, Ana Navarro turned to Nathan, 68, and said, “Did you come here empty-handed to Joy’s birthday?” to which he replied: ‘No, I didn’t, because Joy is still a beautiful Italian woman, I ordered Joy a hot Italian pizza!’

At that moment, a man carrying a pizza box walked up to the table and quickly took off his white T-shirt as the live studio audience cheered and Joy got a good look at his naked torso.

As the brunette stripper showed off his breakdance moves and twirled on the studio floor next to Joy, Sara Haines appeared giddy as she jumped up from her seat and giggled next to Ana, 52.

Joy was grinning from ear to ear and was heard saying ‘Thank you’ to the stripper as he continued dancing – but viewers claimed the redhead was more interested in the pizza than the real man.

A third person asked, “Hell is going on with The View’s pizza guy,” while a fourth person joked, “The View did Joy dirty for her…Birthday.”

Joy’s big day was mentioned at the very beginning of Friday’s episode when Sunny Hostin commented, “Looks like something special is happening,” while Joy joked, “I know, why is my big day?” [face] up there?’ referring to the screen above the table.

‘Congratulations Joy!’ Sunny, 55, said while Sara, 46, added: “We’ll celebrate another lap around the sun,” to which Joy replied: “I’d tell you my age but I think you might want to fact-check me!”

Ana intervened and joked, “It’s okay, only the Democrats will do that!” as the panel quickly turned the conversation to politics.

The ladies were discussing Liz Cheney’s decision to show her support for Vice President Kamala Harris, despite being a Republican, when Ana decided to share her own experiences voting for the opposing party.

“I’ll tell you, so I voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. It was my first time on one Democrat and it was very difficult to do, because when politics has been such a part of your profession, your social circle, of your family life, it is really very difficult to do,” the Nicaraguan-American political strategist admitted.

Sunny, 55, intervened and said, “You lost friends because of that,” but Navarro quickly shot back, “And they can leave!” before adding, “They lost me!”

“They lost you,” Sunny repeated, but as she was about to say something else, Ana interrupted her, gesturing with her hands and telling her, “Let me finish my point, please!” before praising Cheney, who this week labeled Trump “depraved” and even mocked his spray tan.

“I want us to recognize how difficult what she did is, and Liz Cheney has been paying a price for her principled stand since January 6,” Ana said.

“This is a woman who could have looked like Elise Stefanik, this is a woman who could have looked like Nancy Mace and changed everything she believed.

“She could still be in Congress, and she could still be in the leadership of the Republic, hell, she might be president right now, but instead she chose principle. She chose a backbone, she chose democracy and I think we should thank her for that.”
