The View’s Ana Navarro made a brutal attack on Jennifer Lopez during Friday’s show when she addressed rumors that the singer and her husband Ben Affleck may be heading for a split, accusing the hitmaker of being “addicted to marriage’.
The star-studded couple, who married in July 2022, haven’t been pictured together since Easter and on Thursday Jennifer, 54, fueled divorce rumors when she liked a scathing break-up post about ‘lack of integrity and respect’ on Instagram.
‘I think Jennifer Lopez is like the Puerto Rican Liz Taylor and I think she is addicted to marriage, to love, to being part of a couple [and] romance, she is great for the wedding industry,” Ana, 52, claimed.
“Remember, Liz Taylor and Richard Burton were married and divorced and remarried,” she continued, before making a sarcastic comment about JLo and Ben’s first wedding — which was called off at the last minute — in 2003: “Look, they are young enough, they can do this a third time!’

Ana’s cohost Joy Behar interjected, saying, “I would like to add something to the story: When you walk around shouting your love from the rooftops, things get tough when things don’t go your way.
‘My advice is: keep your mouth shut! I don’t even tell Steve I love him in public. I don’t say it privately either,” the 81-year-old said, referring to her husband Steve Janowitz.
‘Tell everyone how much you love each other and write it on Instagram and on Facebook, and then you get divorced and everyone says: ‘See you.’
“Elizabeth Taylor’s story was much juicier than this,” the redhead continued. “She dropped a husband and picks up Eddie Fisher who was married to Debbie Reynolds at the time, it was really interesting. This is not!’
The comedian then referred to her co-host Sunny Hostin as an “apologist” for insisting Jennifer and Ben are “madly in love.”
The 55-year-old somehow went on a rant, telling the panel: “You know what, this is how I feel: they’re in love, I just know it.
You know what I don’t like, I know the world is on fire, but true love exists, it’s still there. They love each other, stop hating true love because you might not have it in your life! That’s how I feel about it too,” the mother of two said angrily.
Alyssa Farah Griffin, who married her husband Justin in November 2021, joined the discussion, saying, “I also think, how hard must it be to be in a public relationship?
The View host Joy Behar suggested that Ben and Jennifer’s love story is “not really interesting.”

The 34-year-old defended Jennifer and Ben, who haven’t been pictured together in weeks, adding: ‘He’s currently filming The Accountant 2, she’s here, she hosted the Met Gala, she’s doing some anyway, I wish them the best of luck. ,” as Sunny added, “They’re on two different coasts!”
However, Ana wasn’t quite done yet and referring to Sunny’s earlier comment, she said, “They can be deeply in love and not work as a couple, both things are not mutually exclusive.”
Joy then joked, “I like that plan. Be madly in love and don’t work as a couple, that’s what I’m good at!’
Ana then suggested, “Maybe she should try someone who isn’t an A-list celebrity,” while Sunny fired back, “She tried that.” She loves Ben!’
The couple, known as Bennifer, were together more than two decades ago and got engaged in late 2002, but broke things off a year later before ending their relationship for good in 2004.
Then, in April 2021, JLo and Ben were spotted together for the first time in over a decade, sparking relationship rumors. They eventually made their newfound romance public and married in July 2022.
