The View co-hosts had fun Tuesday simultaneously celebrating Halloween and Disney’s 100th anniversary.
For the group’s annual festive episode, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin each dressed up as their favorite characters from the Old Company.
The show’s executive producer, Brian Teta, said People“The Halloween show has been a cherished View tradition since the show began and means a lot to our audiences.”
The statement continued: ‘It’s an incredible amount of work, but with everything going on in the world it’s so important to take a moment and have some fun – not to mention showcasing the incredible talent from our View Crew.’
Some presenters even flew to Florida “to enjoy the Magic Kingdom with a trip to Disney World.”

Doll: Whoopi wore blue when she portrayed Tour Guide Barbie
Whoopi, 67, wore blue when she portrayed Tour Guide Barbie.
Senior producer Jamie Hammer told People about the work that went into bringing the characters to life.
“We’ve always said that Halloween shows only work if the women dress up, and no one exemplifies that more clearly than Whoopi,” she said.
It added, “We usually come up with suggestions for some potential characters that we think are tied to the person, but they can choose whatever they want. And this year Whoopi was going to be The Mandalorian, until she came to us and said, “I want to be Barbie.”
Hammer also said, “We looked through (the movie) Toy Story and found out there was Barbie at Disney, and there was guide Barbie! So it wasn’t too bad in the end. And Whoopi looked great. She had 40 pounds of hair and wore it effortlessly.”
Meanwhile, Alyssa, 34, channeled Jasmine from the movie Aladdin.
“So I chose Princess Jasmine because it was one of my favorite movies growing up. I dressed up as so many different versions of Jasmine, I did a pink costume, I did the original blue one,” she explained.
The former White House aide added, “She’s the first Arab Disney princess. I’m Lebanese and Syrian, so I thought that was great.”

For her part, Sarah, 46, was unrecognizable as Carl from the movie Up.
Jamie said of her costume choice: “Sara in particular loves being transformative. She loves Halloween.
“So we pitched Carl from Up to Sara, among others, and that was the one she chose. She loves the story of the movie, she loves the character; it’s something her children knew.”
Haines summarized, “So she said, ‘I want to be Carl. That’s it. I want to be Carl.’ And I thought, “Well… there’s prosthetics and this and that.” And she said, ‘I’m all for it. Ready!'”
In total, it took more than two hours for her transformation to fully complete.
There was also Navarro, 51, who wore two different outfits, both Mirabel and Isabella Madrigal from Encanto.
“Ana has been a huge supporter of Encanto since the beginning,” Hammer said. “She’s friends with Lin-Manuel Miranda, she’s friends with John Leguizamo — we had a feeling that’s probably where she would go, and we were right.”
Sunny, 55, went all out when she appeared as an iteration of Neytiri from Avatar.
Director Sarah de la O told the magazine: “Her costume was obviously super amazing. The show team really took it to a new level with her look, I think.”

Antagonist: Joy, 81, took part dressed as Cruella de Vil from Cruella
And Hammer added: “Sunny is a lot like Sara in that we can always do something really fun and creative. And it allows hair and makeup to really be creative and do their thing too.”
Last but not least, Joy, 81, joined in, dressed as Cruella de Vil from Cruella.
“We (had) a lot of fun with Joy in a segment where we took her, Ana and Whoopi to Disney Treasure, a new cruise that’s coming out,” Hammer explained.
‘They have a parlor where you can communicate with spirits. And if you watch the show, you know that Joy has had experiences with ghosts before. So when you get the reference, you get the joke.”
