The View host Ana Navarro’s husband Al leaves the internet BAFFLED over his ‘ghastly, crooked’ FEET in warped vacation snap – prompting on-air star to leap to his defense in bizarre post

The View host Ana Navarro has jumped in defense of husband Al Cárdenas and his feet in a baffling social media post.

The 51-year-old’s husband was a hot topic of conversation on Instagram last week – but for all the wrong reasons – after many of Ana’s followers were shocked by the condition of his left foot in an image posted by the on-air personality.

In the seemingly innocuous photo, Al can be seen lounging in a cabana reading a book, but beady-eyed Instagram users quickly drew attention to the state of his toes, which appeared warped and twisted in no time.

One person described Al’s foot as “awful,” while another suggested that he should see a podiatrist and have “major surgery” because of the unusual position of his “crooked” toes.

Another person questioned how many toes Al actually had, claiming they could only see three in the photo, so he decided to clear up the confusion – via Ana.

On Wednesday, the TV star took to her Instagram Stories and shared a close-up photo of Al’s bare feet as he relaxed on a sun lounger during their European vacation.

Alongside the random close-up of her husband’s feet, Ana wrote, “Al want you to know he has five toes,” followed by a laughing emoji.

The couple were clearly joking about some of the comments people made on the Instagram post Ana shared on Aug. 14, which featured a photo of 75-year-old Al lying in a cabana reading a book.

Trolls immediately mocked Al’s feet, as some of his toes appeared to be bent from a distance.

One person wrote, “Al needs major surgery on those feet. Wow,” before adding in Spanish, “They’re on fire.”

Another person replied, saying, “I zoomed in to see what was going on and how many toes,” while a third claimed, “seriously, the bunion band overlap is horrid.”

A fourth Instagram user responded, saying, “I saw his toes too. Mine doesn’t look good because of arthritis, but his is very serious.’

Someone else advised, “Al’s left foot, his toes are all crooked, and he also has a bunion.” Have him see a podiatrist, I had the same problem and it hurt so much. He must be in excruciating pain when he puts on his shoes, and worst when he walks.’

Perhaps without noticing the other comments, someone else asked, “But we’re not going to say anything about those toes, are we?” to which another person replied, ‘I only counted 3 on the feet of one of her husbands. I’d be totally devastated on the beach if mine looked like this.’

A few days earlier, Ana had posted a photo of her own bare feet capturing her scenic view while sunbathing on a boat.

The political strategist and commentator painted her fingernails orange and wore a plaster on one of her toes – and her fans immediately took to it.

‘Beautiful place! What happened to your toe?’ someone asked, to which Ana replied: ‘My shoe “rubbed me the wrong way”.’

And when a troll said, “I can’t believe you’re showing those feet lol,” Ana couldn’t help but clap back and sarcastically wrote, “Considering the torture they’re going through, they’re fine.”

However, Ana has been less vocal when it comes to the questions about her weight loss in recent Instagram posts.

On Monday, the brunette star shared some new photos of herself modeling a white mini dress — which led to some people asking her if she had the diabetes drug Ozempic.

Ana paired the stylish piece with a pair of wedge espadrille sandals, a simple gold bracelet and her new evil eye necklace.

She wore her hair straight and posed with her hands on her hips as Al snapped away.

Ana’s 735,000 followers quickly responded to the post, with one person writing, “Holy moly! You look fantastic!! I hope I look this great in ten years!’

Another fan commented, “Looks gorgeous,” while a third person told her, “Honey, you’re serving and shining!”

A fourth person said, “Ana, you and Al look like teenagers!!!!!! You look great!’ and a fifth added: ‘you look fantastic!! BEAT QUEEN.”

However, one person begged Ana to tell them how she managed to maintain her weight.

‘Is it wegovy or Ozempic, or compound semaglutide? It’s not a pickle ball once a week. Just be honest, you are about everything else. It would be a boost and support for those of us thinking about it,” they wrote.

Another fan asked, “Ozempic from stomach cough? You have a platform where people can inform themselves about these facts for health reasons. I did and I’m glad I’m healthier.’

Another person simply asked, “Ozempic? Does it work?’ and someone else said, ‘You look fantastic!! How did you lose weight??? I need your secret!! You were never heavy, but now you’re damn thin!’

In June, Ana was responding to an Ozempic question on Instagram when a person commented on her post saying, “When will you be known to be in Ozempic?” ‘It will help others. It functions. It’s the real thing. It provides the willpower needed to stop eating. It clearly corrects an imbalance in insulin that we must have.”

The Chinandega, Nicaragua-born TV personality responded that she has “posted about (her) weight-loss journey many times,” detailing the latest measures she’s taken in recent years.

Navarro, who was involved in the 2008 presidential campaign of the late Senator John McCain, said, “I’ve struggled with my weight all my life,” adding that “the pandemic and menopause have made things worse.”

Navarro said her mother’s death in 2021 from kidney disease brought on by diabetes — “She suffered terribly for the last few years of her life,” she said — prompted her to become proactive in her quest for better health.
