The Umbrella AcademyThe series’ main cast has teased what fans can expect from the final season of the hit Netflix series.
In an interview-style featurette released as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week 2023 celebration, the show’s eight main actors gave vague hints about what’s to come. The Umbrella Academy season 4. Unfortunately, most of what was said was pretty standard from a teasing perspective, with words and phrases like “excitement,” “the best season yet,” “bittersweet” and “crazy” used to whet the appetite of fans excited for the next episode of the show.
However, there were a few intriguing hints from some of the Netflix series’ cast. Tom Hopper, who plays Luther Hargreeves, claimed it will “be a hit” and “put the siblings (Hargreeves) through the usual amount of chaos,” suggesting we won’t be waiting for season 4 to start go.
In our review of The Umbrella Academy We pointed out the frustrating pacing issues in Season 3, so fingers crossed that the sequel corrects this mistake by diving the Hargreeves family straight into the mystery and action of Season 4.
Elsewhere, Emmy Raver-Lampman teased a new crop of antagonists for the Hargreeves family to face, saying “there are some incredible new characters and new villains, which are super exciting”. Considering that the main antagonists in The Umbrella Academy have largely been a) the tiresome, clichéd world-ending apocalypse and b) their own father, aka Sir Reginald Hargreeves, it’s about time one of Netflix’s best shows branched out and gave us some compelling villains to love to hate , even if it is in the final season of the series.

As we previously reported, The Umbrella Academy Season 4 is set to debut on Netflix sometime in 2024, so it’s not surprising to see the streaming giant begin to ramp up its marketing campaign for the hit superhero show.
Netflix had announced The Umbrella Academy would reach its apocalyptic end in August 2022, but aside from a few new releases, including some season 4 cast reveals that have us worried and the aforementioned release window (if you can call it that), there are no new details about the coming season. Hopefully that will change when Netflix, one of the top streaming services, starts pulling back the curtain The Umbrella Academy‘s final season.
