The truth about Kristin Cavallari’s fling with Jason Statham after she called him her ‘hottest hookup’
Kristin Cavallari recently revealed that Jason Statham was her “hottest date,” but according to a new report, she and the action hero actually “dated.”
The Hills star, 37, and the Snatch actor, 57, were in “a full-on relationship” when Kristin was in her 20s, a source said We weekly on Tuesday.
“Kristin and Jason went out. It was a full-on relationship,” the insider claimed, adding that the duo was an item for about six months while Jason was living and working in Los Angeles.
It is unclear exactly what year the reported relationship took place, although the pair were briefly linked in 2009.
The English actor has been in a relationship with model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 37, since 2010. The pair share son Jack, seven, and daughter Isabella, two.
In 2010, the Laguna Beach alum started dating her now ex-husband Jay Cutler, 41.

Meanwhile, Kristin — who revealed on Tuesday that she is currently single — started the romance speculation after participating in the “Suspect Challenge,” a viral TikTok trend where one person jogs while the other roasts him and jokingly describes him as a ” suspect’ in a police radio format.
Kristin — who split from ex Mark Estes, 24, in October — filmed with her hairstylist boyfriend Justin Anderson, who at one point dropped Statham’s name as someone she hooked up with.
“The suspect’s most popular encounter, which she never told anyone about, was Jason Statham,” Justin said, as an embarrassed Kristin responded, “Oh my God, Justin!”
Elsewhere in the video, Justin also revealed that Kristin was involved with country superstar Morgan Wallen, 31, at one point.
“Defendant let Morgan Wallen hurt her feelings, and she kept going back,” he said, as Kristin covered her mouth and started laughing.
The celebrity hair guru continued to poke fun at Kristin’s love life, at one point saying, “Suspect turned all her ex-boyfriends into alcoholics.”
It comes after her ex-husband Jay’s recent arrest for drunk driving and gun possession.
He also said that while she “prides herself on being independent,” she “always has a man on rotation.”

Two days after sharing the clip on her Instagram, the reality star clarified that she is currently single.
“Dating is funny right now,” she shared Let’s face it podcast on Tuesday.
Although she previously revealed earlier this month that she was “kind of dating someone” after splitting from Estes, the brief romance is now “done.”
“I don’t think I’m ready. Where I am now in my life, if I feel like something is wrong or missing, I don’t waste my time or my energy on anyone,” she explained.
The star said she “doesn’t feel cold” when something “doesn’t work for her” and “ends things very quickly.”
“I think if the right person came along, I’d be ready to date. But I’m not actively looking for a date right now.”
She also said she doesn’t see herself “using another dating app.”
It comes after reports that Kristin is reportedly ‘not bothered’ by her ex-boyfriend Mark getting back into the dating game – following his ‘proposal’ to Love Island USA star Liv Walker.
Sources said TMZ Wednesday that Cavallari is okay with Estes dating other women.
Cavallari has “no plans” to reconcile with Estes and “respects” him for trying to move on from their split.
The insider added that she is “fully aware” that her ex will be spotted with other women and that it doesn’t bother her.

‘I can’t keep dating. Like, I’m dating, but I can’t keep doing it,” she added.
