Superstar Kim Kardashian’s recent appearances have fueled speculation among fans that the mother-of-four has undergone cosmetic surgery on her breasts.

The reality TV mogul, 44, who is believed to have breastfed two of her children, almost fell out of a low-cut red leather dress at a party in Los Angeles last week.

It came just a week after she released a series of revealing photos as part of a campaign for her fashion brand SKIMS, which also sparked rumors of surgery.

The images (below) show the star posing in a barely-there bikini, showing off her perfectly round and lifted breast shape.

One of them wrote on the social media website Reddit: ‘Someone who has had two children obviously wouldn’t have breasts like that without implants. That’s just life.’

Another added: ‘She definitely has implants here lol no denying that?’, and another: ‘She’s in great shape but pics like this make you realize how wild it is that she wants us to believe that her breasts are 100% natural’.

The businesswoman has admitted to using carefully placed tape in certain outfits to boost her breasts, but strongly denies she has had a breast enlargement.

Speaking to MailOnline, one of the country’s most experienced cosmetic surgeons said that although a minority of women’s breasts bounce back after pregnancy, most require an implant and a lift to achieve a similar effect.

Nora Nugent, president of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, said that while it was possible for some women’s breasts to return to their previous shape after pregnancy, such cases were exceptions.

“It’s possible, but not common,” she said.

“There is a small group who essentially go back to where they were before pregnancy, but most women have had some change.”

She explained that breast tissue undergoes a series of fundamental changes as a result of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

“When milk production stops, the glands in the breast become smaller because the hormonal situation actually returns to that before pregnancy and the breast shrinks,” she said.

‘But because the skin and tissue have been stretched, it doesn’t always return to where it was before.’

Ms Nugent said an increasing number of new mothers are seeking cosmetic surgery to return their breasts to their pre-child position.

Usually this takes the form of a combination of an implant and a breast lift, although in some cases only one is needed.

The implant helps increase the volume lost due to the changes of pregnancy, while the lift combats the sagging of breast tissue due to the ‘stretch-shrink’ effect of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Breast enlargement and breast lift are two types of cosmetic surgery designed to enhance a woman’s bust.

During augmentation, a surgeon places an artificial device, round sleeves filled with silicone or saline, to make the breasts larger, fuller, or more consistent.

During surgery, a surgeon normally makes a small incision in the natural crease on the side or under the breast and places the implant between the breast tissue and the pectoral muscle or behind the pectoral muscle itself.

A breast lift involves a surgeon cutting away excess skin from the breast and repositioning breast tissue, such as the nipple, with the aim of raising the breasts higher on the chest and looking ‘perkier’.

For both operations, patients must be put under general anesthesia. These operations take approximately two hours each. However, some women choose to have both procedures performed in one major operation.

Ms Nugent said British surgeons have seen a gradual increase in the number of women seeking post-pregnancy procedures on their breasts, with the average combined implant and lift costing anywhere between £8,000 and £12,000, depending on the individual patient.

Although Ms. Nugent does not comment directly on Kim’s case, critical people who speculate on celebrity images have been critical, keeping in mind that reality is often not what it seems.

“Many images of celebrities are also photoshopped or (their outfits) have tapes or other similar maneuvers to create a look,” she said.

Kim’s appearance has been the subject of plastic speculation for years.
