As the old insult says: ‘May you live in interesting times’.
While 2022 might have been a turning point for Covid, it’s fair to say that over the past year we’ve still been in rough seas.
So it is good news for everyone that at the beginning of 2023 a powerful celestial procession heralds the opportunity to set all of our lives on a better and brighter path.
This is because Saturn (Planet of Discipline), Pluto (Transformation) and Mars (Planet of Power) are moving into new signs.
It’s a rare triple energy shift, and these events call us to embrace the new, right the ship, and get on the Road to Recovery.
Appropriately, what I like to call the March of Destiny begins early in the month of that name, when Saturn ends a three-year stay in Aquarius and moves into Pisces. Near the end of March, Pluto makes a once-in-a-generation move from Capricorn to Aquarius (representing freedom and innovation).

It’s a rare triple energy shift, and these events call us to embrace the new, right the ship, and get on the road to recovery.
This sequence is particularly powerful as it is quickly followed by Mars ending its long stay in Gemini as it enters Cancer. That brings a breath of fresh air that allows us to reassess priorities and make innovative changes. And when lucky Jupiter enters Taurus in mid-May, we’ll find new ways to expand our financial resources.
On the surface, some of these changes may not seem like good news.
The last time Pluto changed sign (in 2008), the world experienced seismic economic shocks. And Saturn’s latest move coincided with unprecedented pandemic lockdowns and restrictions.
However, this time, as they move into new signs accompanied by dynamic Mars, we can expect more positive changes. It will be a journey into the unknown, but the coming year will be exciting, energizing and, if we are ready to embrace change, full of solutions that will affect all of humanity.
Are you ready? Come on!
ARIES
(March 21 — April 20)
As the new year begins, with Jupiter in your sign and Mars retrograde, it’s like you have one foot on the gas and the other on the brake.
But, as Mars joins the March of Destiny at the end of March, that uncomfortable feeling fades in your rearview mirror. It’s time to believe in yourself, especially since Saturn also changes signs in March, which means you’ll no longer feel compelled to give way to others.
By addressing power imbalances and allowing yourself some self-care, a balance can be established, infusing you with the energy to set goals. . . and achieve them.
TAURUS
(April 21 — May 21)
It’s been 12 years since Jupiter, the planet of opportunity, wealth, and adventure, last entered your sign.
It arrives in mid-May at the perfect time, providing the luck, spirit and wisdom to recognize the necessary changes, plus the support network to exploit new freedoms. The objectives of your year will already be clear, thanks to the fact that Mars ends its retrograde phase in mid-January. Meanwhile, Pluto’s change of signs in March transforms the way others perceive you. Your job (not too hard!) will be to find ways to celebrate your success.
GEMINI
(May 22 — June 22)
In mid-January, when Mars moves ‘directly’ again, frustrations will subside and renewed energy will energize you.
When the March of Destiny begins in the spring, you will feel your potential unleashed. Saturn, and then Pluto, change signs, helping you rediscover a sense of purpose. And when Mars finally leaves your sign at the end of March, you’ll be freer to pursue your dreams.
With Saturn (the planet of ambition) moving into a water sign, your emotional prowess will be strengthened. You will find the focus to diversify your objectives and set achievable goals.
CANCER
(June 23 — July 23)
The March of Destiny increases your intuitive powers so that you can see to the heart of problems and people. It allows you to find new like-minded people who will share your interests and make connections.
With the January full moon in your sign and Mars turning direct soon after, new goals will become clear and your self-confidence will be rebooted. Any action you take will make a positive difference to you and the people you care about, in a way that shares prosperity and positivity.
LION
(July 24 — August 23)
With Saturn (the planet of discipline and authority) in opposition to your sign for three years, you will feel relief when it moves into March.
The March of Destiny allows you to build on everything you have learned to exploit a financial opportunity to realize a plan.
Don’t expect everything to be on one plate though, as you’ll have to work to convince others to get behind you.
As Jupiter (the planet of luck) changes signs in May, your reputation will attract more help. Your courage Leo is key. If you believe in yourself and your abilities, and hold on to your vision of a better world, you can create it.
VIRGO
(August 24 — September 23)
January begins with Mars and Mercury (your ruler) both retrograde; a time to review goals and ideas for a greater chance of success. However, both turn direct later in the month (Mars on the 12th, Mercury on the 18th) when you’ll be ready to take positive steps in finances, career, or leisure activities.
Spring’s March of Fate brings the tools you need and the support to help you along the way, confirming that you have ultimate control over your own life.
As Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, changes signs in May, you can take steps to ensure that you prosper.
POUND
(September 24 — October 23)
March of Destiny brings clarity of purpose, plus the tools you need to get where you want to go.
As Saturn changes signs in early March, the restrictions that have thwarted your progress will ease, revealing exciting possibilities for the path forward.
As Pluto settles in Aquarius later in the month, a fresh perspective will show you what to do to achieve success in your career and finances.
By looking deeply into the situations you are involved in and knowing that you are no longer under pressure to conform to the expectations of others, you will see what it takes to become the person you want to be.
SCORPION
(October 24 — November 22)
As the only sign ruled by Pluto, The March of Destiny will affect you perhaps more than any other. His ruler’s move toward freedom-loving Aquarius in the spring encourages him to let his instincts guide him and resist others who try to override him.
When Mars (the planet of energy, action, and courage) turns direct on January (the 12th), your mojo returns, bringing excitement and clarity. Once your feelings and ambitions are aligned, you can embark on a journey that brings you closer to an ideal to satisfy yourself on a practical and emotional level.
SAGITTARIUS
(November 23 — December 21)
The year begins with Mars turning in front of your sign, easing the tension that builds between you and someone important. Whether it is a work or romantic relationship, you will find it easier to express yourself. And as his ruler Jupiter aligns with Saturn in the March of Destiny, it signals a shift, making it easier to work alongside others.
When Jupiter enters earthly Taurus in May, a hidden and more patient side of your personality will emerge. This will allow you to reflect and discover what you really need to do to feel fulfilled.
CAPRICORN
(December 22 — January 20)
When Mars changes direction in mid-January, a source of frustration will give way to an understanding of what you need to do to maximize success in your career and happiness in your personal life.
It is a great time to meet the type of person you would like to become.
The March of Destiny will help you communicate these goals and start turning them into reality. As part of this process, after 15 long years, Pluto will finally leave your sign at the end of March.
A weight will be lifted. You will change the fixed ideas that others have about you; and your passion for change will soon bring others on board with you.
AQUARIUM
(January 21 — February 19)
Just under two weeks from now, Mars changes direction and your creative juices will start flowing once again.
Lost confidence will return and the year ahead will begin to look like a road full of opportunities.
For the past three years, your traditional ruling planet, Saturn, has been trying to bring more discipline into your life. But, as the March of Destiny begins and the planet of restriction leaves your sign, you will be eager to meet the challenges in innovative ways. If that sounds worrisome, don’t panic! You will be encouraged to build a new foundation on your personal journey to recovery. Any lost ground will be quickly recovered.
PISCES
(February 20 — March 20)
As January begins, Jupiter and Venus combine to strengthen your beliefs about what matters most.
And when Mars turns direct in the second week of the year, you’ll feel ready to go after what makes you happy and confident.
But it’s the March of Destiny and the movement of Saturn, the cosmic master, into your sign in early March, followed by the movement of Pluto and Mars into new homes, that bring the tools you need to make the most of what life has to offer. life has for you offer.
You will also gain stability and the determination to profit from ideas you never dreamed would be taken seriously. You can turn inspiration into reality.
