The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton claims Conor Maynard has still not met their baby daughter and admits she’s been left in tears due to newborn ‘looking identical’ to the singer

Charlotte Chilton has claimed Conor Maynard is yet to meet their six-week-old daughter Peneople.

The Traitors star, 32, said she tried to contact the singer, also 32, through his representatives after the toddler’s birth because he has a “right to know” but has received no response.

Charlotte revealed in June that the singer, whose sister is dating The Traitors winner Harry Clarke, was the father of her unborn child. She said he ghosted her after he found out she was pregnant and refused to acknowledge the baby.

Now talking to OK! she revealed, “He knows [I’ve given birth] I didn’t hear anything, I had a real torment about whether to contact him if she was here or not. And I thought I didn’t want to talk to him, but he has a right to know. I knew that if I didn’t reach out, people would say I hadn’t bothered.’

Charlotte also spoke candidly about her postpartum anxiety and the fact that Peneople looks just like her dad.

“There have been days when I’ve been in tears because I’ve been sitting here thinking, ‘I have a daughter who looks damn identical to you.’

She then discussed whether she wanted Conor to be part of her daughter’s life, saying: “If she wants to walk away from him, that’s fine, but she has to make that decision for herself when she’s older, I’m not going.” to deny her contact if he decides he wants to see her.”

MailOnline has contacted Conor’s representatives for comment.

Charlotte also revealed how supportive she and ex-wife Laura Chilton, 33, were after the pair initially had a war of words after the pregnancy went public.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Charlotte shared a photo of her daughter for the first time and wrote: ‘Princess Penelope has arrived and we have enjoyed our ‘Penelope bubble’ so much, I am going to disappear from the radar for a while. longer, while enjoying these magical moments with my precious girl!!

‘Thank you to everyone who checked in to make sure I was okay!! My heart is full xx’

Charlotte revealed Conor was the father of her unborn ‘miracle baby’ after suffering seven miscarriages through IVF with her ex-wife. She also claimed that the singer had tried to silence her.

Charlotte appeared on Loose Women in July and claimed Conor ‘ghosted’ her and was then asked whether she is in contact with him, replied: ‘I am in contact – he is not.’

Charlotte previously condemned Conor for ‘damaging’ her mental health after she revealed she was pregnant with his child

Charlotte was then asked if she wanted him in her unborn child’s life. She said, “This is a tough question. I’m always torn about what’s best for her. With me and my mental health and the damage he did to me, no.

“But I’m an adult and I have to put her first. I would like it for her at some point in her life. I don’t think it makes much sense at this stage, but it has to be Penelope’s decision.’

She also revealed that she sold her house to move in with her mother because she “can’t do it on her own.”

The mum-to-be has also previously condemned Traitors show winner and former co-star Harry Clark, labeling him a ‘fake boyfriend’ following her pregnancy bombshell.

Charlotte claimed Harry, 23, ghosted her after she announced his boyfriend Conor had fathered her ‘miracle baby’.

Harry is in a relationship with Conor’s younger sister Anna, and the two men have often attended events and been pictured together on social media, with Charlotte claiming the reality TV winner is the one who set up the couple in the first place.

Charlotte said how Harry abruptly stopped talking to her after the news before quickly leaving The Traitors WhatsApp group – claiming he got everything he needed from his co-stars before dumping them.

She told me The sun: ‘I thought Harry had decided that what Conor is doing is appropriate: boys supporting boys.

“There’s a part of me that just wants to block it out because if I don’t it will eat me up inside.”

Charlotte also revealed how supportive she and ex-wife Laura Chilton (R) were after the pair initially had a war of words after the pregnancy became public.

She continued, “He never answers a message so you just step away and just think, ‘Well this was clearly a fake friendship, you got what you wanted and now your screen is over.’

Charlotte claimed Harry orchestrated their meeting and ‘pressured’ her to attend the show’s wrap party because Conor wanted to meet her and ended up ‘chasing’ her all night.

The party was organized in honor of British army corporal and ‘traitor’ Harry, who shocked the nation when he took the £95,150 prize money from the Faithfuls in a nail-biting final.

Charlotte previously revealed to The Sun that in her opinion Conor was a ‘narcissist and a ‘man child’ and claims he ‘pressured her to keep his identity secret’.

MailOnline contacted Conor’s representative for comment at the time.

Her estranged wife Laura previously claimed they were still together when Charlotte slept with the singer in London. Laura and Charlotte had been together for seven years and had endured a failed IVF attempt.

Laura, a telecommunications engineer, said she wanted to speak out after being hurt by comments Charlotte made about her previous ‘toxic’ relationship.

She said she also wanted to make it clear when their relationship ended.

Laura exclusively told MailOnline: ‘Charlotte has stated in interviews that she was single and that she had been single since filming Traitors, which was not the case at all. We were still dating when she was filming the show.”
