Speaking about his surprise at reaching the final without being caught, he said: ‘It’s very surreal, I didn’t think it would get this far at some point.. When all fingers were pointed at me, I never thought I would go this far.
However, he admitted that taking on the role hasn’t been easy and “stabbing in the back” with his new friends has been a “struggle”.
“I really didn’t think it would be as hard as it was to murder people, or watch people get banished knowing that you’re the one that should be banished.”

Moving on to discuss his strategy, he admitted: “I went in there with a game plan that I executed quite well and got me to the final, but at the same time there are moments where people look at you and point fingers at you.”
“When I went through that and managed to save myself, after that moment I knew I would be in the final.”
‘I knew from that moment during the [fellow traitor] alyssa [banishment] episode, where people hugged me afterwards, and I barely had a vote after that. I went from lots of votes all the time to almost none and I knew it the next day. I thought ‘I already have this’.

Recalling the early departure, he said, “And I was getting ready to move left, right, and center!”
“It was the most brutal twist on a game show and set the tone for the show perfectly – it had everyone hooked from the very first episode. But being at the end was tough.’
Traitor: Kieran found himself dramatically kicked off the show in episode one, before returning as a faithful before joining the ranks of traitors alongside Wilf.
He went on to reveal how the producers told them about his return to the show after 15 minutes of being a broken man.
‘Then when the two ladies got in the car and told me how you feel. We were like “How do you think we feel?” then they said “we will bring you back”. And then me and Amos, basically, if someone was filming the car, you would have seen the car shaking from side to side where we were going crazy in the back of the car.
“It was probably one of the best lines I’ve ever heard in my life because it went from complete despair, to euphoria back to saying ‘Okay, that’s brilliant. Brutal, but thank you.’
Discussing his own strategy, he went on to say, “There’s no luck involved, it’s a tactical game with all sorts of scenarios – the twists and turns are ridiculous.” Everyone’s journey is unique, but mine is particularly unique.
So I’m very grateful, very happy to have survived that amount of time and to be alive and in the final.’
