The three-word warning message UFOs are trying to send humans, according to top Air Force vet
A retired Air Force captain – who witnessed a UFO deactivate ten nuclear missiles in 1967 – believes the “alien” occupants have a simple three-word message for humanity: “WTF!?”
‘I’m sorry. Did I say something wrong?’ Captain Robert Salas joked after giving his blunt opinion to Congresswoman Nancy Mace during an episode of the Total Disclosure podcast.
At the height of the Cold War, a then 26-year-old USAF Lieutenant Salas was underground while monitoring the nuclear-equipped intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.
He claimed that an eerie red-glowing UFO over the base gate on the night of March 24, 1967 temporarily disabled 10 ICBMs.
‘They knew exactly how our systems worked. Exactly,” Captain Salas told South Carolina Representative Mace when speaking about the mysterious UFO pilots.
Captain Salas was questioned by Representative Mace about what he did thought the UFO pilots were trying to transfer.
”WTF!? You have nuclear weapons,” he said, paraphrasing these shocked, pacifist aliens. ‘That’s what I think [they meant] .Of course it’s just my opinion.’

Both Rep Mace and Capt Salas spoke on the podcast Total disclosure for an episode released online on November 24, 2024.
In his analysis of the Malmstrom AFB incidents, the retired official was convinced that the non-violent, non-destructive nature of the UFO interactions could be indicative of the peaceful intentions of the potentially extraterrestrial inhabitants.
“No equipment is fried. Nothing was damaged,” Captain Salas told Representative Mace.
“It was simply an intermittent electrical pulse delivered to a certain part of the conduction system called the logic link,” he explained.
‘And this was proven by Boeing. Boeing has done a test with this so-called logical coupler.’
“If that device didn’t work properly, the guidance system wouldn’t work properly,” he continued. “So the missile turned itself off.”
“The missiles were all returned to readiness within 24 hours,” he noted.

Air Force veterans have repeatedly testified about their experiences with UFOs interfering with US nuclear missiles – some of which occurred at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana (pictured)
At the time of the 1967 UFO raids, Captain Salas said he was also told that the incident was secret and that he was forbidden to talk about it.
“I signed a non-disclosure agreement,” he said. “I didn’t start talking about it until 1996.”
The veteran later learned that his crew commander had experienced a nerve-wracking and nearly identical UFO episode at the nuclear base just eight days before his own episode.
Captain Salas, who has long advocated for government transparency about UFOs, told Representative Mace that he recently published a book delving into “13 similar cases that have occurred around the world, including Russia.”
“No significant damage was caused in any of these incidents,” he emphasized to the congressman this month.
“To me that means they’re sending us a message about nuclear weapons.”
In March 2023, Salas and another Air Force veteran told DailyMail.com that they had given their testimony to the Pentagon’s UFO-hunting All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), expressing concerns about the potential of UFOs to interfere with American nuclear weapons.
A now public email confirms that AARO personnel contacted former Salas to gather information about his chilling encounter with the orange-red glowing “disk” that inexplicably disabled ten nuclear warheads at Malmstrom AFB.

Although Salas described these early interactions with AARO officials as “very magnanimous,” he has since told the media that he is disappointed with the office.
The Air Force veteran described the Pentagon office’s March 2024 “historic report” on UFOs since the Cold War as “a”Steaming pile…‘
“I gave AARO a two-hour PowerPoint presentation on the Malmstrom AFB incidents where twenty ICBMs were taken out during UFO encounters,” Salas said on the social media site
“The USGOV owes us, the informed public, far more respect on this subject than AARO’s steaming pile of insults offers,” he concluded.
