The thrilling moment when Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra of The Block have to pass into their house as they struggle to reach the reserve price

Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra did not make a profit on their house at an auction.

The pair passed by their house on Sunday’s final episode of The Block and it didn’t sell.

The couple was unable to attract a bid above their minimum price of $4.08 million, yielding a highest bid of $4,075,000.

They continued to negotiate with their highest bidders after filming.

But as of 9pm Sunday, November 6, Ankur and Sharon are still open to other offers to buy their home.

The pair, despite the “stressful” process, took defeat at their pace and stopped bidding because they feared they would only make a few thousand if the bids exceeded their reserve.

‘That was extremely stressful. Could have been much worse. Even though it’s bad at this stage, it could have been a lot worse,” Sharon said.

Ahead of the finale, the married couple revealed that they were worried about how their home’s sale would turn out when it comes to auction time.

“It’s really scary because we don’t know what’s going to happen and it took a while to actually finish,” said former Neighbors star Sharon. Yahoo.

“There was still a lot going on, so taking buyers through various stages of completion was very scary.”

Ankur insisted, however, that the pair isn’t just in the league for a big payday.

“I think the winner was $4,000 profit or something. So I mean, yeah, in this market, like, who would know?’ he said.

“This sounds stupid, but we didn’t do it for the money.”

He added that the couple would be upset if they didn’t make a profit, but that’s not all.

“It would be disappointing, but hey, not everyone is expected to sell their house or anything like that,” Ankur said.
