Have you ever wondered if the clothing brands you wear secretly betray your political beliefs?
According to a TikTok content creator, your favorite designers could be a giveaway.
New York City-based content creator Elysia Berman created a video to her 149,000 TikTok followers about “popular fashion items that scream conservative.”
“I’m not saying only conservatives wear this, but if you wear this I’m going to wonder who you voted for in this election,” the design director explained in the viral video, which received 53,000 likes and nearly 2,000 comments.
The so-called “conservative” brands ranged from expensive Golden Goose sneakers — which retail for $600 each — to classics like LLBean, a favorite among New Englanders.

Elysia first mentioned Golden Goose sneakers, saying that the people who wear these expensive Italian shoes usually pair them with “several thousand dollars worth of Cartier” and a LoveShackFancy dress, as seen above.
Elysia called Texas-based jewelry designer Kendra Scott’s necklaces “or any Kendra Scott jewelry,” and joked that she was “basically describing the Bama rush uniform.”
Elysia first reported Golden Goose sneakers, saying that the people who wear these expensive Italian shoes usually pair them with “Cartier worth several thousand dollars” and a LoveShackFancy minidress.
“Something about spending $600 on a pair of worn-out sneakers screams conservative values to me,” the digital creator said.
‘[Liberal people] Like me, we wear their shoes until they really look like this, and then we never take them off again,” Elysia joked.
Elysia also mentioned Texas-based jewelry designer Kendra Scott’s necklaces “or any Kendra Scott jewelry,” and joked that she was “basically describing the Bama costume.”
The young women who recruit at the University of Alabama wear celebrity jewelry and clothing worth thousands of dollars, opting for preppy brands and wildly expensive accessories.
According to Elysia, another designer worn by conservative women was Australian brand Zimmermann, which she described as the grown-up version of LoveShackFancy.
The boho-chic Aussie brand has amassed a slew of famous fans, including pop stars Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Ariana Grande, who all endorsed Kamala Harris, and Paris Hilton, a childhood friend of Ivanka Trump.

In the comments, some completely agreed with her fashion insights, while others thought some simply meant preppy style, especially in the Northeast.
Ralph Lauren’s American flag sweater was also on the list — with its creator suggesting Democrats instead don the viral teddy bear sweater, which she called more neutral.
The LLBean Boat Tote was also listed as conservative, although she said it is considered more liberal when embellished with a sassy saying.
Barbour coats, barn coats and Sperry boat shoes were also described as conservative – which Elysia says is “totally nice.”
In the comments, some completely agreed with her fashion insights, while others thought some simply meant preppy style, especially in the Northeast.
A few people suggested other brands that seemed to symbolize conservative style, including Vineyard Vines, Lily Pulitzer and Louis Vuitton.
While some people said they didn’t think LLBean was conservative, others wholeheartedly agreed with the list.
“Can confirm this is correct, I own several RL flag jerseys and Golden Goose shoes and voted for Trump,” one woman admitted.
