The stunning new Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake trailer shows our first look at stealth gameplay
Konami has revealed the first gameplay look for Metal Gear Solid 3 remakeand it looks great.
The Xbox Games Showcase 2024 is in full swing and we’ve already received many exciting announcements from some of Microsoft’s biggest studios. The first floor view was also revealed during the broadcast Metal Gear Solid 3 remake – also known as Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
The trailer features main character Snake carrying out a series of riveting stealth missions in this new take on the iconic military agent’s origin story. We also see Snake crawling along high beams, subduing enemies and even hiding in a swamp with an alligator headgear.
According to the developer, players will opt for a newly added modern control style and will also choose to play with a classic control style “that more closely mimics the feel of the original game.”
“The same gripping story and immersive world, but with all-new graphics and 3D audio that enhance the jungle atmosphere,” Konami said. “Get ready for the ultimate survival stealth action experience.”
While we don’t have a release date yet, we will Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Metal Gear Solid 3 remake was first announced as part of Sony’s State of Play on May 24, 2023. At the time, it was rumored that the game would be released in late 2024, although it looks like this won’t be the case.
It is also confirmed that all the original voices are from 2004 Metal Gear Solid3 will be used in the remake, and we see the same in the latest gameplay trailer.
