Star Entertainment Group reported on Monday that its systems are experiencing performance issues, leading to the shutdown of all electronic gaming machines and electronic table games at three of its casinos.
The casino operator said that system performance issues were identified during testing following planned upgrades to introduce cashless gaming.
The company says it is working with a third-party vendor to address the issues.
“Treasury Brisbane, The Star Gold Coast and The Star Sydney remain open with table games,” the report said.
Last month, Star Entertainment appointed Steve McCann as CEO and managing director to steer the company out of a regulatory probe into its Sydney operations, which had led to a series of executive departures in recent months.
