Delta Goodrem has proudly showed off her huge diamond engagement after her new fiancé Matthew Copley popped the question last week.
And the singer’s bling is worth a pretty penny, according to leading diamond expert Zack Stone, a specialist at the British retailer. Steven Steen.
“Delta’s engagement ring from Matthew features what appears to be a 3-carat round-cut diamond in a solitaire setting,” Stone said.
He called it “the most iconic and popular diamond shape” which is believed to “symbolize eternal love and eternity.”
“The diamond is set in a solitaire setting, which is a timeless choice for those looking for a style that is always on trend,” Stone continued.

‘The timeless diamond sits on a pavé diamond band, meaning the shank of the ring is lined with small diamonds that give it that extra element of radiance.’
As for value, Stone estimates the ring to be worth a whopping AUD$123,000.
Delta announced her engagement to Matthew in an Instagram post on Thursday evening, along with a loved-up photo of the couple on holiday in Malta.
In the image, Delta tenderly embraced her love in front of a beautiful sea view as the sun set in the foreground and the couple enjoyed a glass of champagne.
“My best friend asked me to marry him,” she giddily captioned the image, alongside a ring emoji.

Delta recently wrapped up its European Hearts on the Run tour and enjoyed some time off in Malta before returning to Australia on Monday.
In 2018, she told InStyle Australia that she had made a “conscious decision” to keep her love life private.
“I made a choice that I’m not even going to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’… I didn’t say anything for three or four years,” she stated.
As a result, Delta and Matthew never appear on the red carpet together and the Born to Try hitmaker rarely goes into details about her relationship in interviews.
