A-League cult hero Jason Cummings has stolen the hearts of football fans after a touching moment he shared with the No. 1 Central Coast Mariners fan surfaced online.

Banks has been a die-hard Mariners supporter for many years and a popular figure on the central coast of NSW.
He has cerebral palsy and is confined to a life in a wheelchair, but Banks continues to live his best life.
In heartwarming scenes, Banks and Cummings shared an on-pitch hug before the striker cheekily asks if his good friend plans to “go for a drink tonight” [to celebrate].

Cummings can’t wait for the grand final against Melbourne City, but like any footballer he wants to win some silverware on the big stage
Banks had previously been appointed Mariners Media Liaison Officer and referred to the club as “his family.”
“They mean everything to me… the club is willing to give me the chance to do what I do,” he said Fox Sports.
“The Mariners, they’re like family to me. “It’s just great because I have a disability and I couldn’t have asked for much more than what they gave me.
“I can’t thank them enough for their support.”
Cummings is also buzzing ahead of the decider against Melbourne City on June 3 at Sydney’s Commbank Stadium.
He wants silverware as rumors continue to circulate that the Scottish-born 27-year-old will soon leave the A-League and take a lucrative opportunity abroad.
