The sovereign citizen of Perth was ridiculed for the fake license plates and design of the Toyota Hilux coat of arms

The bizarre fake license plate of a sovereign citizen on the Toyota Hilux backfires spectacularly

  • Toyota Hilux had fake license plates

A driver associated with the Sovereign Citizens movement has left motorists speechless after using an illegal false number plate before the vehicle was impounded.

A passerby snapped a photo of the Toyota Hilux in Perth and called out several strange features before it was impounded for having false number plates.

Found my first stove today! It was a pleasure to have it confiscated for false plates,” they wrote.

A so-called ‘Commonwealth Custodian’ has left motorists speechless after using a fake license plate and bizarre design on the back of their cars

The fake number plate reads ‘private’ in white letters on the black background with the word bordered by the phrase ‘Commonwealth of Australia’.

Also, there appears to be a misspelling on the license plates where ‘non-commercial’ is misspelled as ‘non-commercial’.

The back of the vehicle is decorated with a coat of arms and directs people to the website of the Commonwealth Custodian, an alt-right group that appears to share similar views to the sovereign citizen movement.

The group refuses to recognize the Australian government, shares false information about Covid-19 and falsely claims that political parties are United Nations ‘franchises’.

A member state website states: ‘Dear Australian Government, please note that we know who you are and what you do.

“You are nothing more than a private political company. You have no authority over We, the people of the Commonwealth.

‘PS: We would appreciate it if you would leave the property and give back our land NOW!’

Social media users teared up the appearance of the vehicle and slammed the owner of the car.

“Not willing to pay taxes, but willing to drive on taxpayer funded roads,” one joked.

Another added: ‘I live in the US and I’ve seen more crazy alt-right stuff in Perth than in the state I live in! It’s mind-boggling.’
