This is the moment a Leeds fan fell from the top stands at Stamford Bridge during celebrations following Mateo Joseph’s opening goal in Wednesday night’s FA Cup match.
Leeds traveled to the capital to face Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup, while the Blues would face Leicester in the quarter-finals in what could have been a Championship affair after a 3-2 win.
Things went that way, at least temporarily, with Joseph putting Daniel Farke’s side ahead after just eight minutes following a series of defensive errors from the Blues.
The goal caused a wild celebration among the away fans attending the match, with thousands of Leeds supporters in the top tier of the Shed End.
But one fan ultimately fell from the top tier into the bottom tier fan group, which also contained thousands of away fans.

Medical personnel quickly rushed to the scene and took the supporter to a nearby hospital after picking them up from the ground.
The match was not stopped, but images and video showed a dozen medical staff, stewards and police surrounding the incident.
Fans looked on in concern, before many applauded as the person was removed from the ground.
The scenes were generally chaotic, with a strict rivalry between the two sides dating back more than fifty years.
However, the celebrations were short-lived with Nicolas Jackson scoring the equalizer just over seven minutes later to get the hosts back on track.
The match was the Blues’ first since their Carabao Cup final defeat to Liverpool on Sunday, and they initially showed signs of a hangover until Jackson edged past Illan Meslier after 15 minutes.

The lead was short-lived: Mykhailo Mudryk finished second after Nicolas Jackson’s opener
Chelsea controlled the majority of the games from then on and took the lead after 37 minutes when Mykhailo Mudryk scored for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Joseph scored again to make it 2–2, but Conor Gallagher scored minutes from time to send the Premier League side through to the next round.
