PlayStation 5 owners have just found a secret setting on their controller that could change the way they play.
Despite the console coming out more than three years ago, players have only just discovered the feature.
The latest PlayStation has sold a whopping 38.5 million units since its release in 2020.
One of the introductions that set it apart from PlayStation 4 was the Create button, which allows users to record clips and take screenshots of the game they are playing.
But players are only now realizing that the button is customizable, and with a few tweaks to the settings, they can record videos longer than the standard 15 seconds.

These screenshots and videos are widely used by streamers – who create content from their gameplay to share with people online.
The Create button is located at the top left of the controller’s touchpad.
Players can tap the button once and it gives them the option to take screenshots or screen captures. A screenshot can also be taken by long pressing the button.
But to make a longer video, there are a number of steps players can take.
First they have to go to the settings and select Captures and Broadcasts and then Captures.
They are then taken to the section called Shortcuts for Create Button – where they can choose how best to make the button work for how they need it.
There are three options: Default, Simple screenshots and Simple video clips.
For the default setting, players can take a screenshot by holding the button and a video by clicking it twice. Clicking it once will present users with the Create Control pop-up menu.
If players choose Easy Screenshots, they can only press the Create button once to grab a grab bag. Pressing and holding the button opens the quick menu.
And if videos are preferred, which would often be by streamers, users can choose the Easy Video Clips option. The screenshot options for this are the same as Standard, but it has more video options.
The player can click the button twice to manually start or end a video, and it can record footage longer than the default 15-second limit.
